Hey there,

Welcome to Trakle! I'm Alex, the person behind all this nonsense. Dan helped a lot too, but anyway...

Growing up in Los Angeles with 4 brothers, I found my own unique identity within the raw, vibrant world of indie music. It became more than just a genre to me - it was my passion, and it honestly felt like home. The problem was that even in LA, trying to find intimate indie scenes felt like chasing shadows. I’d always done the research, going through websites and following artists, only to realize there was so much beneath the surface to be discovered.

But why keep this all to myself when I could share it with the world?

So, Trakle was born – a unique platform where indie music lovers could find the best live events around the city, and also share their experiences. We offer comprehensive listings of indie events, venues, artist details, and so much more. But at the heart of Trakle, it's the community's voices that really sing - with ratings, reviews, and first-hand experiences adding a personal touch to each and every listing.

Every artist, every gig, every review on Trakle is an echo of the LA indie scene. They're more than just listings—they're shared experiences, collective memories of the indie music we love. Together, we've created a space that’s vibrant, diverse, and real, just like the indie music scene itself.

Beyond just event details, we provide venue insights and parental guides (dw you should be good kiddo). Everything at Trakle is aimed at making your indie music journey richer, smoother, and unforgettable.

Trakle is about the music, the community, and the shared love for all things indie. It's about creating a shared rhythm that resonates with indie music lovers across LA.

In my journey through life's ups and downs, Trakle has remained a constant source of joy and fulfillment. It’s the community, the music, and the shared experiences that keep me grounded.

So, thank you. For being a part of this journey, for embracing indie music, for supporting Trakle. Your love and support mean more to me than you could ever know.

Remember that you can always reach out to us at share@trakle.com, share your stories, your experiences, and your love for indie music. Trakle is as much yours as it is mine.

So much love to you,

Alex
