Bladee, hailing from Stockholm, began carving out a unique musical niche around 2013 by forging a genre-defying sound that transcends traditional rap frameworks. Detaching from conventional rap traditions, he wove together eclectic internet influences and his vivid imagination, coalescing into a vibrant and experimental sonic landscape. His early works, such as the lo-fi infused mixtape 'Gluee,' through to the frostbitten futurism of 'Eversince,' and the melodic sweetness of 'Icedancer,' showcase an evolution marked by emotional depth and genre blending. Bladee’s music is a blend of ethereal soundscapes, surreal lyricism, and progressive production mainly by collaborators like Whitearmor and Yung Sherman, creating an atmosphere that oscillates between introspective ballads and charged pop hybrids. Not just confined to music, Bladee extends his creative spirit into visual arts and fashion, notably serving as creative director for Yung Lean’s Sadboys Gear.
