About the Artist
Formed in 1987 in a New Jersey basement, Blues Traveler quickly made a name with their energetic and intricate blend of blues-rock infused with strong jam band sensibilities. Led by John Popper's virtuosic harmonica playing and rapid-fire lyrics, the band’s live performances are renowned for their improvisational depth and high-spirited engagement, often stretching songs into extended explorations that captivate audiences.
